ALDEGUER WINS THE AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX AND TAKES BETA TOOLS SPEEDUP AND BOSCOSCURO TO THE TOP STEP OF THE PODIUM
The Australian Grand Prix concluded with a remarkable victory for Aldeguer, who took the Beta Tools SpeedUp team to the top step of the podium after an exciting race full of twists and turns. Unfortunately, López, who had settled into the top 3, suffered a crash three laps from the finish.
Starting from pole position, Aldeguer immediately set a consistent and competitive pace. The young rider, number 54, fought hard throughout, delivering an exciting battle with López and, most notably, with Canet. Thanks to his focus and determination, Fermín managed to prevail with a decisive overtake on Canet in the final corners of the last lap, securing his third win of the season.
Unfortunately, his teammate López wasn’t as lucky. He was running a strong race until three laps from the end. After holding a solid third position with a three-second gap over the rider behind him, he crashed at Turn 4 — the same corner that had caused him trouble during Friday’s free practice — losing his chance for a podium finish.
FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 1st
“At mid-race, I felt confident and knew I had much more to give. On the last lap, I came in really strong, and when I saw Canet making a mistake on the entry, I seized the moment. I’m very satisfied with how I managed this incredible race. From now on, we need to keep moving in this direction if we want to finish the Championship on a high note”.
ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: DNF
“I’m very disappointed with how things ended today. I was confident I could make it to the podium, but unfortunately, the crash at Turn 4 ruined everything. We need to stay focused: there are still three important races ahead, so we won’t give up and will keep fighting”.
